A memory that doesn't reset
Every chat, file, and idea becomes an Object: a structured, durable unit your AI can read, link, and build on. Over weeks and months, your workspace becomes a knowledge graph of the people, projects, notes, and decisions that make up your work.
Most AI tools fall back on summaries when conversations get long. Rool doesn't. Your AI works directly with the real Objects, so context isn't compressed or lost.

Real work with real files
Upload, store, edit, and organise any kind of file: documents, images, spreadsheets, code, PDFs, audio, video. Your Rool Machine can read them, write new ones, and transform them on your behalf.
Convert a rough markdown note into a formatted report. Crop and resize a batch of images. Run calculations across a spreadsheet. Refactor a piece of code. The Machine has hands as well as a mind.
Share the workspace, share the mind
Invite people into your workspace and they work inside the same thing you do: the same files, the same memory, the same AI. AI agents can join too, operating on the same source of truth.

Extensions for everything else
Need a Kanban board? A dashboard? A custom form? Extensions are full mini-applications that live inside your Rool Machine and share its data, memory, and AI.
Today, extensions are built outside Rool using our open SDK, @rool-dev/extension. Write them in your favourite editor with any AI coding tool, then publish them straight into your workspace.

Always on the best AI
Rool is an AI in its own right: a constellation of frontier models working in concert. The right model is chosen automatically for each request, whether you're writing, planning, coding, looking at images, or running agents. You never pick a model. You just talk to Rool.
When something better comes out, your Rool Machine upgrades to it. No API keys, no provider accounts, no plan tiers around model access.

Your Rool Machine lives in the European Union, on one of the lowest-carbon electricity grids in Europe. We're a Dublin-based company subject to Irish and EU data protection law.
