The rules that govern acceptable use of Rool.

Last Updated: February 2026

Report violations or appeal suspensions: abuse@rool.dev

By using any services through your Rool account, you agree to this policy. If you violate these rules, your account may be suspended or removed.

1. Child Safety

Content involving the exploitation, abuse, or sexualization of minors is prohibited.

2. Violence and Threats

You may not post content that threatens, incites, or glorifies violence against individuals or groups. This includes any expression of support for terrorist organizations or activities.

3. Harassment and Doxxing

Targeted harassment of individuals or groups is not permitted. Publishing someone's private information — such as a home address, phone number, or identity documents — or images without their consent is also forbidden.

4. Impersonation and Infringement

You may not create apps that impersonate other businesses, organizations, or individuals, nor publish content that infringes on copyrights or trademarks you do not own or have rights to use. Clone sites using the names, logos, or branding of existing companies will be treated as malicious and removed.

5. Illegal Goods and Services

Rool must not be used to facilitate the sale of illegal drugs, unlicensed weapons, counterfeit goods, or stolen property. Scams, pyramid schemes, and fraudulent services promising false payouts are equally prohibited.

6. Self-Harm Content

Content that promotes, encourages, or glorifies self-harm or suicide is not allowed.

7. Malware and Phishing

You may not distribute malware, viruses, or phishing schemes, or deploy apps designed to steal credentials, harvest data deceptively, or compromise security.

8. Deepfakes and Manipulated Media

Creating or distributing synthetic media designed to deceive is prohibited, particularly content that falsely depicts real individuals.

9. High-Risk AI Applications

You may not deploy applications falling under "high-risk" categories as defined by the EU AI Act, including systems for biometric identification, critical infrastructure, or decisions affecting employment, education, or access to essential services.

10. Competitive Use

Using Rool to train AI models, benchmark for competitive analysis, or reverse-engineer Rool's systems or behaviour is strictly forbidden.

11. Fair Use and Platform Integrity

You may not use the Service in ways that negatively impact platform stability or other users. This includes disrupting, degrading, or impairing the availability or performance of the Service, or consuming excessive resources in a manner that affects others. Attempting to exploit vulnerabilities in Rool's infrastructure, circumvent authentication, authorization, or rate limits, probe for security weaknesses outside of an authorized programme, or manipulate billing, pricing tiers, or usage metering is also forbidden.

12. Name Squatting

Registering app names or namespaces you do not intend to actively use is not permitted, particularly names that could be confused with established brands or services.

13. Adult Content

We do not impose a general ban on adult or sexually explicit content. Such content is permitted provided it complies with all other rules in this policy.

Your use of Rool must comply with applicable laws. We reserve the right to modify this policy and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
